Air Europa implements industry-leading communication solutions to further enhance its guest experience

Air Europa will send notifications to passengers via email and SMS using 15below’s industry-leading user interface that places everything in a single view, allowing the airline’s operational teams to manage guest communications effectively.

Air Europa is partnering with 15below – the market-leader in hyper-personalised, automated passenger communications – to implement new digital solutions that will further advance the airline’s ability to keep its passengers informed and empowered with timely, relevant notifications throughout their journey.

The airline division of Globalia and member of SkyTeam alliance, Air Europa will be implementing 15below’s three most popular solutions: Disruption Communications, Queue Manager, and Flight Status Notifications.

Air Europa passengers are not the only ones that will benefit from the enhanced partnership; the airline’s operational teams will also gain significantly from the automation of irregular operations (IROPS) management, queue management, and communicating flight status updates.

A strategic partnership between 15below and Air Europa’s reservation system, Amadeus, also brings additional value for the airline: With deeper integration between the two systems and a combined approach to common industry challenges, the airline will benefit from years of joint innovation and product enhancement.

Speaking about its work with 15below, Air Europa’s Global Sales Director, Bernardo Botella commented: “The collaboration with 15below will allow us to continue to improve the customer experience throughout the entire lifecycle. The implementation of these solutions will help us to optimise the communication even further with passengers to keep them informed, at any time, about the status of their flights, and will help us to increase the degree of control over the different operational scenarios of the airline”.

Nicholas Key, CEO at 15below, says: “We are thrilled to welcome Air Europa as it joins 53 other global travel brands committed to offering the ultimate passenger experience. Our market-leading technology will help Air Europa proactively manage disruption and keep its passengers informed and empowered at every step of their journey.
