Since 19 September, Air France – KLM has joined the list of firms in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes, both on a worldwide (DJSI World) and European (DJSI STOXX) scale.
These indexes select firms with the best performance in terms of sustainable development, based on an audit carried out by the Swiss Group SAM (Sustainable Asset Management Indexes GmbH). Today Air France-KLM is the only air transport group to be included in the latest update of DJSI World, which groups the 10% of leading performers in this field, among 2,500 companies in 22 countries worldwide.
The inclusion of Air France-KLM in these indexes recognizes the commitments shared by both airlines to reconcile the economic performance of the Europe`s leading air transport group with its social and environmental responsibilities.
Air France-KLM is currently listed in all the major sustainability indexes: DJSI World and DJSI STOXXX, FTSE4Good and Aspi Eurozone.
