Air Serbia and Mostar Airport extend their partnership until October 2025, maintaining the thrice-weekly Belgrade-Mostar route launched in April 2024 after a 30-year break.
Air Serbia and Mostar Airport have extended their cooperation for another year, based on which the Serbian national airline will continue flying between Belgrade and Mostar until October 2025. Air Serbia operates flights to this popular city in Bosnia and Herzegovina three times a week, on Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays, with a flight duration of about 50 minutes.
“We established the direct service between Belgrade and Mostar on 15 April 2024, after a 30-year hiatus. In the first three months, we had very good cabin occupancy, with over 6,000 passengers flying between the two cities. July saw the highest number of passengers on this route, with a very high load factor. This indicates that direct flights between Belgrade and Mostar are of exceptional importance to our passengers. We look forward to continuing our cooperation in maintaining scheduled air traffic on this route,” said Boško Rupić, General Manager Commercial and Strategy at Air Serbia.
The management of Mostar Airport, led by Director Marko Đuzel and Executive Director Ibrica Berberović, expressed satisfaction with the results of the newly established air route between Mostar and Belgrade and once again thanked the Serbian national airline, Air Serbia.
“We fully support the continuation of flights in the winter schedule, which guarantees the sustainability of this route in the future. The flights during the winter period are very important as business people, tourists, and other passengers will be able to fly to Mostar via Belgrade and vice versa to the whole world. We want to emphasize that the citizens of Mostar have reacted very positively to the commencement of this service because Air Serbia offers good air connections from Mostar, via Belgrade, to Paris, Düsseldorf, Zurich, Amsterdam, Oslo, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Larnaca, Stockholm, Prague, Milan, Rome, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Venice, Bologna, Bucharest, Krakow, Vienna, Budapest, Hanover, Stuttgart, Hamburg, Nuremberg, Brussels, Lyon, and many other cities. We hope that this is just the beginning of a long-lasting cooperation,” said Mostar Airport Director Marko Đuzel and Executive Director Ibrica Berberović.
