Two new spaces set to open in the brand-new Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima in December, representing the first time that ‘sleep ‘n fly’ and ‘The Club’ of Airport Dimensions have operated in South America.
Airport Dimensions, the global specialist in helping airports enhance their experiences and enrich travelers’ time, is bringing sleep solution brand “sleep ‘n fly” and North Americas’ leading shared-use lounge brand, “The Club”, to South America for the first time. New details have been revealed about these experiences, which will both open in January 2025 in the brand-new Jorge Chavez International Airport (LIM) in Lima, Peru, with two future spaces set to open in 2026.
sleep ‘n fly at LIM will be the company’s first sleep proposition outside of the Middle East, and the only facility of its kind in the country. It will offer travelers an easy to access, private, stress-free environment to unwind, sleep, refresh and recharge, whether for a short rest or a longer stay.
The Club, the largest shared-use lounge brand in the U.S. market spanning over twenty locations across North America, will also launch its biggest ever space at LIM, bringing its acclaimed lounge facilities to the region.
“We are thrilled to be part of this transformative chapter for Lima Airport. Airport Dimensions was awarded these four spaces based on our proven track record for delivering premium spaces and services at major airports worldwide. With sleep ‘n fly and The Club LIM, we’re elevating the travel experience in Lima for the airport’s international and domestic travellers,” said Giorgio Benza, Vice President for Latin America. “This is just the beginning for us, as we look forward to opening two more spaces here in Lima and are excited to be expanding our offering and bring even more value and services to South America.”
The ultimate rest and recharge destination sleep ‘n fly – pioneers and developers of the airport sleep solution – are bringing their next-generation sleep proposition to Lima, larger and more spacious than in previous locations, promising a unique experience for travelers seeking rest during their journey. The 4,600 square foot facility will have a 92-person capacity, and be located landside at Lima’s main international and domestic terminal. Designed for all types of travelers, from solo guests to families, it offers distinct flexible booking options from 2 hours to a whole night
and choice of four different room types.
Among the new features are the enhanced FlexiSuites, equipped with fully reclining zero-gravity seats to boost comfort and blood circulation. These suites feature wireless charging, pop-up plug sockets, and storage compartments for added convenience. Inspired by Business Class airline standards, the design incorporates modern, ergonomic features and a calming light installation.
In addition to the FlexiSuites, the lounge offers 13 redesigned Nap Pods, a single occupancy space that’s not only comfortable but thoughtfully designed to be used as a restful seat or laid flat into a bed. Single and Family Cabins are also available, with the latter accommodating up to four guests making them ideal for families or groups. The space will also offer a 'Lounge Lite' concept, alcove seating, with capacity for up to 19 people in cozy two-person booths. Four spacious shower rooms are also available.
Delivering A Premium, Culturally Inspired Airport Experience
A common theme across The Club’s portfolio of lounges is the celebration of local culture, local flavour and creativity. The design for The Club LIM draws inspiration from Peru’s rich cultural heritage, incorporating traditional and contemporary artworks by seven local artists, handmade textiles, greenery, and ceramics that highlight the country’s artistic history. Local chef Ignacio Barrios Jacobs has curated a menu of signature dishes, blending regional ingredients with Peruvian culinary traditions.
The lounge will span 19,763 square feet, host up to 454 guests, and offer a variety of zones tailored to the needs of modern travelers. From dining and relaxation areas to a working area with private meeting rooms, a kids’ play area and a vibrant bar. The multifunctional space elevates traveller's airport experience so that they can make the most of their time, on their terms.
Airport Dimensions’ Expanding Global Footprint
These launches are part of Airport Dimensions’ broader expansion plan, with additional lounges set to open across the U.S. including a new The Club lounge in Grand Rapids (GRR), and several in partnership with Chase Sapphire, including Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club in Phoenix (PHX), Philadelphia (PHL), Las Vegas (LAS), and San Diego (SAN). The brand is also set to open a refurbished Rose Lounge at Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) in Ho Chi Minh City.
“We are delighted to bring these new concepts to Peru with the help of our partner Airport Dimensions. Without a doubt, their extensive global expertise will redefine the experience at Jorge Chávez Airport. This new proposal will create a perfect environment that will not only provide relaxation but will also stand out for its hospitality, inspired by Peruvian culture” said Lucio Benavente, Retail and Experience Manager at LAP.
Sustainably Designed
Both sleep ‘n fly and The Club LIM have been thoughtfully designed with sustainability at their core. From The Club LIM’s energy-efficient LED lighting and eco-friendly furniture, to water-saving fixtures like WaterSense-certified toilets and faucets, every detail prioritizes environmental impact. Recycled materials with low VOC emissions, durable commercial-grade components, and sustainably sourced woods are used throughout. In the kitchen, energy-efficient appliances and natural refrigerants reduce carbon emissions, while a waste management system ensures minimal landfill contributions. sleep ‘n fly’s innovative use of PalmEco Geo Panels, recycled tiles, and fabrics made from 100% recycled yarn further reflect a commitment to sustainable design without compromising comfort or luxury.
