Copa Airlines launches a new route to Raleigh-Durham, expanding its U.S. network to sixteen cities, enhancing connectivity and commercial opportunities.

PANAMA CITY – Copa Airlines, a subsidiary of Copa Holdings, S.A. and member of the global Star Alliance network, inaugurated its new route to and from the Raleigh-Durham region, the capital city of North Carolina. With this new destination, Copa Airlines expands its network to sixteen cities in the United States, consolidating its presence in this market and connecting North Carolina for the first time with its extensive network in 32 countries across the Americas.

“This new route to Raleigh-Durham strengthens our presence in the United States, allowing our passengers greater connectivity and access to the Research Triangle area of North Carolina, the state’s hub of innovation and technology. Serving a new destination allows us to offer our passengers quick and convenient connections to an ever-growing network across the continent, increasing commercial exchange opportunities and tourism development in the region,” said David DeFossey, Regional Commercial Manager, North America for Copa Airlines.

Raleigh-Durham joins the other 15 destinations served by the airline in the United States: Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Orlando, Tampa, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C. This addition reinforces the airline’s commitment to improving connectivity and offering high-quality service to its passengers, providing access to important economic and cultural centers in the United States.
