Japan Airlines International (JAL) has selected the AviNet Airport wide-area network service from ARINC to enhance operational efficiencies and lower networking costs. “Cost management and network availability are among the top priorities of our IT department,” said Mr. Hisanori Sato, Director of Information Technology Planning at JAL.
“ARINC’s flat-rate pricing model for AviNet Airport will allow us to manage our budgets more effectively. In addition, we will have just one supplier for fault detection and resolution, which will help us ensure maximum network uptime for all our users.”
Randy Pizzi, ARINC’s Vice President and Managing Director, Asia/Pacific said “The open design and scalability of AviNet Airport make it the ideal platform for many of our aviation customers. Its multi-protocol support and flat pricing model allow airlines like JAL to better manage their migration to IP and control their operational costs.”
