Mr Gerry Oh will be Jet Airways` new Regional Vice President for South East Asia with immediate effect. As part of Jet Airway’s comprehensive plans to expand its international operations and to strengthen its management team, Mr Gerry Oh, who will be based in Singapore, will oversee the airline’s regional sales, marketing, operations and lead the airline’s rapid expansion in the region.
Mr Oh brings to the company a wealth of travel industry experience having had a distinguished career in Singapore Airlines spanning more than 25 years that includes engineering, route planning, alliances and marketing. He was the airline’s Vice President for Marketing Communications & Development and subsequently served as Vice President for Global Sales & Distribution. He also spent several years in the field as Country Manager/State Manager for the airline in Europe, North America, Sri Lanka and Australia.
Prior to joining Jet Airways, Mr Oh spent nearly 3 years as Senior Vice President for Global Sales & Marketing, for the London listed Millennium & Copthorne Hotels Private Limited, where he was responsible for leading the fast growing hotel’s group strategic initiatives in sales, marketing, distribution & web development.
