TAAG Angola Airlines will offer direct flights between Luanda and Oporto during Christmas and New Year

TAAG Angola Airlines has just updated the flight schedule; New website is live.

LUANDA – TAAG Angola Airlines will provide 14 services to connect Luanda and Oporto, effective from December 2023 to January 2024. The goal is to offer greater mobility options to passengers while answering the seasonal high demand during Christmas and New Year. Thus, as of today, sales are open, and customers can acquire their tickets in advance via the company ́s regular channels benefiting from more competitive ticket fares.

Flight itinerary – Christmas (December)

  • Departures from Luanda to Oporto (night flight) scheduled for 15, 17, 20, and 22 December 2023.
  • Departures from Oporto to Luanda (day flight) scheduled for 16, 18, 21, and 23 December 2023.

Flight itinerary – NEW YEAR (January)

  • Departures from Luanda to Oporto (night flight) scheduled for 3, 5, and 7 January 2024.
  • Departures from Oporto to Luanda (day flight) scheduled for 4, 6, and 8 January 2024.

The route will be operated by a Boeing 777 aircraft with 293 passenger total capacity. This initiative answers to passengers’ expectations and market demand considering December/January peak period, as TAAG will provide families and corporate segments with a direct connection to Oporto City, a key destination during the festive season.

Also, TAAG Angola Airlines has just launched its new website a value-added proposition to customers, passengers, and general audience. The platform is available in four languages (Portuguese, English, French, and Spanish), with seamless navigation and easy access to key functionalities, such as bookings, ticket acquisition, online check-in, seat quotation, and multipoint routes, among other useful information.

Aligned with the best commercial practices in aviation, TAAG is focused on digitalization, aiming to establish the new website as the preferred platform for customers and passengers to request services. Overall, benefits go from full autonomy, 24-hour self-services available, agility, and security. The website has been fully optimized, is more user-friendly, appealing, faster in
processing commands, interactive and mobile responsive.

Until the end of the month, new features will still be incorporated into the website, namely the «plusgrade». This tool (subject to the terms and conditions) will allow passengers with confirmed/purchased tickets to request an upgrade, meaning, an opportunity to make an offer to be placed in a higher class than the one for which their original ticket was acquired.
