Organizations must exert effort to ensure that proper security measures are in place to keep their employees safe and secure. Here are five tips you should keep in mind the next time you travel for a business trip.
Do your research
Research everything about your destination, including your hotel or corporate housing, the surrounding neighborhoods, travel and health restrictions, means of transportation, and the local customs and culture. Even if you have a chaperon, make sure you know how to travel to and fro your meetings and conferences. Read the local news to help you identify current security concerns in your destination area.
