Five top spots to take a selfie in Israel

When you’re in Israel, there are dozens of Instagrammable places you need to go to.

To travel is to see a different part of the planet. It’s a way of opening your eyes to the wonders that this world has to offer. And what better way to capture all the beautiful places you visit than with a selfie as proof to your family and friends that you’ve actually been there.

When you’re in Israel, there are dozens of Instagrammable places you need to go to. You’ll need to get a car rental Israel, though, if you want to travel in style.

Check out some of the top places to take a selfie in this country.

1. The Western Wall, Jerusalem
Also called the Wailing Wall, the Western Wall is the only remnant of The Second Temple of Jerusalem, which was destroyed by the Romans in 70 CE. It’s an ancient wall made of limestone in the Old City of Jerusalem. It’s the holiest place you can find in this part of Israel. It’s where pilgrims and Jewish people pray. Aside from that, it’s the perfect background for a selfie worth posting on your social media accounts.

2. Red Canyon, Eilat
Eilat is the southernmost city in Israel. Just outside of this place is a mountainous desert called Red Canyon. Thanks to the red sandstones that make up this short but beautiful canyon, it deserves a spot in the most astounding places to drive your car rental Israel to.

3. The Dead Sea
Bordered by Jordan to the east and Israel to the west, The Dead Sea is a landlocked salt lake that has the lowest elevation on the planet. Here, you can find columns of salt emerging from its saline waters, which was caused by the saturation of sodium chloride in the bottom of the water.

4. Shuk HaCarmel, Tel Aviv
The Carmel Markel or Shuk HaCarmel is the largest in Tel Aviv. Not only does it offer a bountiful array of items to buy, from spices to electronics, but it’s also a fascinating place to explore. It has the reputation of being the largest authentic Middle-Eastern market in this part of Israel. All the colors and smells here will definitely make your trip worthwhile.

5. Rothschild Boulevard, Tel Aviv
While in Tel Aviv, you should also drive your car rental Israel to one of the oldest and most prominent streets here, the Rothschild Boulevard. There’s never a dull moment here. Besides the selfie-worthy spots in this boulevard, you’ll also find a sweet selection of restaurants, cafes, and bars to while away the time.

Be sure to check out all of these places while you’re in Israel. Take a few selfies to post to your social media accounts to bring life to your page.
