Is Las Vegas still the entertainment capital of the world in 2022

There are plenty of other things to do in Vegas that don’t include gambling.

Las Vegas, the world’s entertainment capital is going strong after a tumbling few years. Love it or hate it, it still remains the premier and deluxe city for entertainment. And it’s not just the casinos – there are plenty of other things to do in Vegas that don’t include gambling. See a show or go to a three-star Michelin restaurant for a meal prepare by world-class chefs – the choice is yours.

While Macau has taken Vegas’ reign in terms of gambling, it didn’t take the shine out the city’s entertainment offer. But who even cares about gambling? You can place bets on BetFury from the comfort of your home, so no need to spend money in Vegas on that. On the other hand, no online arena can match what Vegas has in terms of entertainment, with the world’s biggest stars all appearing for big shows.

What to see while in Vegas
If you’re not there for gaming, Las Vegas has a lot to offer. It’s the home of music venues that accommodate hundreds of thousands of fans, and often have shows by the world’s top stars. Adele, for example, announced Vegas residency last year, and she’s not the first nor last artist to sing in Vegas. If you’re lucky to be on a trip while a big star is in the city for a show, don’t miss it.

Of course, you can’t be in Vegas and not check the casinos on the strip. It would be a real shame, even if you prefer to place bets in BFG on the web rather than fiat money in a deluxe casino. Just go in and have fun. You’ll most likely pay an entrance fee, but considering the menus they have, the drinks, and the entertainment shows, it would be a real shame not to head to a casino in Sin City.  After all, it is its bread and butter.

You don’t have to play casino games. Head to the restaurants – many have Michelin stars and are headed by world-class chefs that create artsy food. It’ll cost you, but that’s the price to pay for something truly unique.

Magic shows are non-negotiable
Las Vegas is also the place to be for magic shows. The world’s greatest magicians all have shows in Vegas, and while they tour the US, the Sin City shows have the most glamour. From practical magic and comedy acts to serious shows that can put the Horsemen’s stunts from Now You See Me to shame.

Are you a fan of rollercoasters? They produce a different kind of magic and Vegas is home to the USA’s best ‘coaster rides. SkyJump and Thrill Inverter are just the beginning. There’s something for everyone in store, whether you like heights or not or you’re a daredevil with a need for speed.

Conclusion
Practical magic, artsy foods, or big music shows – the choice is yours. The capital of gambling is also the world’s capital of entertainment, and no one’s taking that crown soon. With the world’s biggest movie and music stars all craving a trip to Las Vegas, Sin City’s undying appeal will continue to thrive.
