Top ten places to visit on a trip to Chicago

Navy Pier
The eclectic variety of things to do at Navy Pier is what makes this location so special. With tons of restaurants, shops, gardens, and of course the famous ferris wheel, there is something for everyone in the family to enjoy. 

The 606
This urban outdoor trail system is a great way to view the city on foot, or by bike. Combining design and outdoor space, The 606 is a 2.7-mile elevated park and bike trail that was built on an old industrial train line. 

Lincoln Park Zoo
Lincoln Park Zoo is an iconic Chicago location for all ages. The free-entry 35-acre zoo allows you to stroll through while learning about the animals and taking in the sights of the city. The Lincoln Park Zoo is an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.

Myopic Books
Located in Wicker Park, this award-winning bookstore is a book lover’s dream. With over 70,000 books wall to wall, all of which are used, you’re guaranteed to find the perfect book. They also have a live experimental music series on Mondays.

Empty Bottle
This small Ukranian Village dive bar has had a major impact on the Chicago music scene. This intimate location is perfect for grabbing a drink, shooting some pool, and hearing live music. You might even run into some of the band members at the bar.

Wrigley Field
You guessed it, the home of the Chicago Cubs is a sports lover’s fantasy. Located in Wrigleyville, the baseball-themed neighborhood is an awesome way to grab a bite and watch a ball game. It’s a party whether the team wins or loses. 

Portillo’s
This local chain restaurant specializes in serving Chicago-style food, like the famous Chicago hotdog. What started as a hotdog cart in 1963 turned into this staple food source in the Second City. Don’t worry, our mouths are watering too.

Old Town Ale House
Looking for a laid back bar to spend your evening? Look no further than the Old Town Ale House. The eclectic feel of this bar will make you feel like you’ve time traveled back to the Old Town that the ‘60s and ‘70s knew.

Stony Island Arts Bank
