Josh Paine, CEO of WorldVentures, a leading direct seller of global travel and leisure club memberships, talks to TravelDailyNews about company’s expansion in Mexico and professionally curated travel opportunities that DreamTrips members can enjoy in the country.
TravelDailyNews: WorldVentures has announced it has begun operation in Mexico. In what way WorldVentures' expansion is expected to bolster the region’s economy?
Josh Paine: The expansion of WorldVentures is expected to significantly contribute to the economy of Mexico. Since 2014, DreamTrips booked via WorldVentures company, Rovia, the online travel agency has boosted the local tourism industry through hotel bookings, air travel, DreamTrip activities and car rentals. Since 2014, there have been approximately 4 million dollars’ worth of bookings in Mexico with approximately 2 million dollars in hotel bookings, 1.5 million dollars in air travel, $28,256 in activity bookings and $29,689 in car rentals.
TDN: Since 2015 alone, WorldVentures has hosted 402 DreamTrips in Mexico, with 13,283 rooms booked in hotels". What are the numbers for 2017 and for 2018 until now?
J.P.: In 2017, there were 107 DreamTrips in Mexico. From the time period, January 2018 – September 2018 there were 88 DreamTrips.
TDN: What exactly are the "professionally curated travel opportunities" that DreamTrips members can enjoy in Mexico?
J.P.: Professionally curated travel opportunities are organized travel package which effectively demonstrates the experience of travelers who book DreamTrips. These curated opportunities includes pre-planned group vacation packages that provides the opportunity to meet people who enjoy similar activities and relieves the stress of planning every aspect of a trip on their own. It brings about a strong community feel, because members will be able to partake in activities with other fellow DreamTrip travelers.
