44th International Tourism Fair and 18th HORECA-EQUIPMENT to be held at the Belgrade Fair 23rd-26th February 2023

The partner country of the 2023 Tourism Fair is the People’s Republic of China, a country that has remarkable partnership relations with Serbia in the field of economy, culture, and other areas.

Under the slogan “Vacation is not hard”, the traditional tourism exhibition of the entire region of Southeast Europe and other parts of the world – the 44th International Tourism Fair and the 18th International Fair of Hotel and Catering Equipment HORECA-EQUIPMENT will be held at the Belgrade Fair from 23rd to 26th February 2023.

The partner country of the 2023 Tourism Fair is the People’s Republic of China, a country that has remarkable partnership relations with Serbia in the field of economy, culture, and other areas. Promoted and greatly supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Youth of the Republic of Serbia, this year’s fair will be an opportunity to improve tourism exchange, to introduce domestic tourists to the possibilities of visiting a country rich in history and heritage, but also to bring Chinese tourists back to first place when it comes to the arrival of foreign guests in Serbia. As a special event at the Tourism Fair, a B2B meeting with representatives from China is planned in coordination with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia.

In Halls 1, 1A and 4 of the Belgrade Fair, the visitors to the fair can again this year expect a large number of popular world destinations with an increasingly diverse tourist offer, authentic accommodation facilities adapted to modern tourists. Traditionally, the most important travel agencies, associations and organizations, hotels, tourist centers, transport companies and international tour operators will participate in the fair.

Destinations continuously present at the fair and popular among domestic tourists will be there this year as well: Turkey, Greece, Montenegro, Tunisia, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, North Macedonia… as well as last year’s participants – island destinations – the Maldives, Sao Tome & Principe.

Algeria, Burundi, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, and Namibia will be presented for the first time this year at the Tourism Fair.

Although most of the organization and preparation of the fair is in the final stage, it is still not too late for exhibitors to register for participation, and for business visitors to join the B2B business program and to organize their business meetings in advance and connect with business partners through registration and pre-fair communication among participants. Realized in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and the European Entrepreneurship Network, the B2B business portal has been successfully connecting exhibitors, visitors, and all other users of tourist services for years through an extremely active B2B platform.

Already in the pre-fair period, B2B meetings were announced by business visitors (buyers) from Spain, Switzerland, Greece, Hungary, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Albania. It is expected that, with coordination by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, representatives of the People’s Republic of China, this year’s partner country, and African countries participating in the Tourism Fair for the first time will be among the most active participants in the B2B meetings.

Serbia will present its tourist assets in Hall 4 of the Belgrade Fair through authentic performances by the Tourist Organization of Serbia (TOS), the Tourist Organization of Belgrade (TOB), as well as the participation of numerous local and regional tourist organizations from all parts of Serbia.

Those who plan to spend their vacation in Serbia will be pleased with the rich offer presented by the TOS, and the list of places that must not be bypassed will include numerous towns and spas. Smells and flavors will be presented through gastronomic specialties of Serbia, which quickens the pulse with numerous destinations for adventurers, while the waves of the Danube will invite all tourists to sail from Vojvodina to Golubac.

This large fair event is intended for professionals from all sectors of the tourism and hospitality industry. As before, concurrently with the Tourism Fair, the 18th International Fair of Hotel and Catering Equipment HORECA-EQUIPMENT will also take place at the Belgrade Fair, which will present the most modern equipment for hotels and hospitality facilities.

The 18th International Fair of Hotel and Catering Equipment HORECA-EQUIPMENT is part of a large and successful event that unites and promotes all branches of the tourism and hospitality industry. Halls 2A and 2C of the Belgrade Fair will gather the most important companies engaged in the production and distribution of the most modern products and product ranges for equipping catering facilities, restaurants and hotels, as well as service activities, new business trends, supply and functioning of catering facilities.
