Expressions of interest in acquiring a 30% stake in the firm Greek Exhibitions-Helexpo AE will be accepted until November 15.
The strategic investor will receive 30% of shares in the company and undertake the management of Helexpo in addition to securing a position on the board of directors.
Groups which have submitted expressions of interest will be notified on November 24 if they meet the requirements for participation in the international public tender. All those which do will have until January 26 to submit a proposal. A five-year business plan and marketing strategies are also required.
According to Greek daily Kathimerini, a low level of interest has been shown thus far with only two firms, which have experience in the field, making submissions.
American firm PGI has reportedly expressed interest via its Greek subsidiary PGI Hellas and British subsidiary Spearhead together with the firm Allamani.
