The new technologies at FITUR 2001

The Technical Conferences at FITUR<.> constitute one of the fair's main assets. Meetings, such as those organized for the next edition between 31st January and 4th February 2001, by the WTO and the meetings which will take place in the Spanish Tourism Technology Room (organized by the Spanish State Tourism Department), among others, enable professionals to analyze and gain a profound insight into the current state of the tourist industry.



In this respect, the dissemination of the fair's exhibition and activities has always been one of the priority objectives of the organizers, who, on this occasion, will take advantage of the most universal medium which currently exists: the Internet. Thus, the inauguration ceremony of FITUR 2001 itself, which will take place on Wednesday 31st January, will be broadcast live by Internet, through the Web address Directivosnet.com. This information will remain active once the fair has concluded.



In accordance with the agreement signed between FITUR and this portal, the organizers of the conferences and the other activities which receive the collaboration of FITUR within the framework of the 2001 edition, will be able to broadcast these meetings on the Web Page Directivosnet.Com.
