LONDON – World Travel Market is preparing to gaze into the crystal ball with its opening "Travelling into 2005 Forecast Forum" taking place on November 13 at Earls Court.

Highlighting the theme for this year's World Travel Market – e-travel – a distinguished panel of four speakers from a cross section of the travel industry will outline their personal views of how technology will impact on the industry in the next five years.

The four speakers are: Jan Knox, chief operating officer, Viator Inc; Grant Holmes, chief executive officer, Onerail; Dr Aulianna Poon, managing director Tourism Intelligence International and Mark Hughes, managing director UK, Broadvision.

Fiona Jeffery, exhibition director, comments: "It is impossible not to recognise the massive impact e-travel has, and will continue to have, on the travel industry in the 21st century. If the rate of change continues at its current pace the landscape of 2005 will be very different to that of 2000.

"This year's 'Travelling into 2005 Forecast Forum' gives the industry a real opportunity to discuss global trends and the future of the travel sector. It is set to be an enlightening and lively press conference."

World Travel Market (WTM<.>) takes place at Earls Court, London from November 13 to 17.
