Talixo partners with GoNexus Group’s NexusCube, enhancing its B2B mobility marketplace with extensive airport and point-to-point ride options, driving ancillary revenue growth.
BERLIN, GERMANY – Global transfers operator, Talixo, has announced a strategic partnership with GoNexus Group’s innovative B2B experiences and mobility marketplace, NexusCube. Talixo’s pre-booked airport and point-to-point rides, available in 1,100+ cities and 130+ countries across three ride classes and eight vehicle types, further strengthens the platform’s mobility offering to its customers and their travelers.
The revenue potential of ancillaries in travel has grown exponentially over the past decade, accelerated by the diminishing margins on core verticals such as flights, increased competition from direct-to-consumer offerings and the growing demand for personalised and experiential travel.
By providing access to curated experiences and mobility in a single platform, NexusCube gives travel brands the ability to easily integrate these value-adding ancillary products into their direct booking channels and create seamless, end-to-end travel experiences that drive business growth and customer value.
Despite providing essential connectivity for travelers, however, transfers are an often-overlooked part of the travel experience. Many retailers limit themselves to private airport pick-ups or low-margin shared transfer products with limited booking flexibility and cross-channel support.
Sebastian Kleinau, CEO of Talixo, commented: “The big travel brands are adding pre-booked rides to their portfolios for a reason. By making the most of the complete multi-channel transfers opportunity, travel retailers could be generating close to 1 million euros in extra annual profit for every 10,000 flight or hotel bookings they make each month. So there’s enormous potential that many businesses across the travel industry are missing out on.
By partnering with GoNexus Group and Juniper and making Talixo’s services available through their ancillaries marketplace, we’re making it easier for connected travel retailers to provide customers with a carefully vetted, highly competitive global supply of private airport transfers and point-to-point rides. Our local and tech-enabled fleet operation allows us to deliver high-quality rides on a global scale, providing greater access to destinations, more booking flexibility and better reliability through features like real-time GPS driver tracking – the modern experience that today’s travelers expect.”
Roberto Bermúdez, Managing Director of NexusCube, commented: “This collaboration marks a significant step for NexusCube in its endeavor to establish itself as the leading company in the B2B distribution of travel experiences and mobility with more than 17,000 B2B travel partners worldwide, including OTAs, tour operators, and retail travel agencies.
By expanding our offerings with Talixo’s mobility services, we are enhancing our extensive portfolio of more than 220,000 experiences, over 8,000 mobility options in more than 1,000 airports, and more than 3,000 theme parks. Our goal is to empower our partners with comprehensive, scalable travel solutions that meet the needs of modern travelers while unlocking significant revenue opportunities for our industry partners.”
