Appart’City partners with IDeaS to automate revenue management across its 90 properties, enhancing efficiency and strategic pricing with advanced analytics.
PARIS – Appart’City, France’s leading aparthotel operator, has partnered with IDeaS, a SAS company and leading provider of hospitality revenue management software and services, to optimise revenue management decisions and automate related processes across its portfolio of 90 properties.
The strategic partnership marks a significant shift in Appart’City’s approach to revenue management, transitioning from labour-intensive manual processes to adopting a powerful RMS solution with automation capabilities. Previously, Appart’City’s revenue management teams had the challenge of manually managing rates effectively for a varied mix of inventory and length of stay product offerings across its approximately 12,000 room portfolio.
By implementing IDeaS G3 RMS, Appart’City now benefits from automated pricing recommendations driven by advanced analytics that consider demand patterns, publicly available competitor pricing and other market factors. This allows the company to dynamically adjust rates and apply precise, real-time pricing and overbooking strategies for optimal revenue and occupancy results.
To ensure a successful transition, Appart’City is currently undergoing a phased implementation of G3 RMS features. Upon completion, Appart’City will be equipped with an effective solution for future proofing their revenue operations. IDeaS’ signature pricing by room- or unit-type and Last Room Value inventory controls will solve a key challenge for extended stay providers by effortlessly ensuring these properties capture the revenue optimal mix of long- and short-stay demand.
Pierre-Alain Trehan, director of revenue management and global distribution, Appart’City said: “The implementation of IDeaS G3 RMS promises to be a transformative change for us. The system has improved our efficiency and allows us to make more nimble strategic moves as market conditions shift. The recent investments we’ve made in technology are substantial, and we appreciate the expertise and guidance from the team at IDeaS as we strive for continued growth.”
Michael McCartan, area vice president, EMEA, IDeaS said: “Appart’City is an innovative, market-leading organization and we couldn’t be more pleased to welcome them to the IDeaS community. With the rising demand for aparthotels and serviced apartments in Europe, operators who embrace sophisticated tools like G3 RMS are well-positioned to see substantial improvements in RevPAR, length-of-stay performance, operational efficiency, and overall productivity. We are excited to partner with Appart’City and look forward to seeing the continued growth of their business.”
