getawayGoGo partners with HomeToGo, expanding its marketplace by adding 3 million properties, enhancing last-minute booking options and creating new revenue opportunities for hosts.
SAN CLEMENTE, CA – getawayGoGo, the global online marketplace for last-minute travelers, has expanded its vacation rental property offerings with a new partnership with HomeToGo.
Effective immediately, getawayGoGo’s global last-minute vacation rental marketplace has expanded with the addition of 3 million properties from HomeToGo, the SaaS-enabled marketplace with the world’s largest selection of vacation rentals. This direct distribution integration through HomeToGo_PRO’s Doppelgänger product provides travelers with a vast new selection of last-minute deals and booking options.
“We are incredibly excited about our partnership with HomeToGo. In addition to our book direct vacation rental inventory from property managers and hosts in 42 countries we are now adding a piece of HomeToGo’s extensive portfolio of over 15 million short-term rentals, giving last-minute travelers a new and even greater selection of properties and booking options to choose from,” says Brad den Dulk, founder of getawayGoGo. “This partnership also gives HomeToGo’s property managers and hosts a new channel for creating incremental income from last-minute reservation gaps, cancellations, and spontaneous travel.”
With recent trends of shrinking booking windows, greater work-from-anywhere flexibility, remote technology solutions, and prioritization of experiences, last-minute getaways are now a
consistent and growing reality for all aspects of travel. In fact, according to a study conducted by Transparent Intelligence (Lighthouse), more than 40% of all vacation rental bookings in North
America and Europe were booked within 14 days of arrival.
“HomeToGo is excited to partner with getawayGoGo to bring our unmatched selection of vacation homes to international travelers seeking last-minute getaways,” says Dan Sharell, Business Development Manager at HomeToGo. “We’re always tuned into the latest travel trends and continually evolve our guest and host experience to make the most of market patterns – like the rise in spontaneous travel. Through this new partnership under our HomeToGo_PRO Doppelgänger product, we’re tapping into getawayGoGo’s established market presence to enable our providers to connect with a trending segment of travelers, while also empowering new guests to book our incredible homes and create unforgettable memories with HomeToGo.”
