Mews, awarded Best Hotel PMS, partners with Lark Hotels to manage its 50+ properties, promising enhanced guest experiences and operational efficiency.

NEW YORK – Mews, the industry-leading hospitality cloud and winner of Best Hotel PMS at the HotelTechAwards 2024, has been chosen by Lark Hotels to power its growing portfolio of more than 50 properties across the United States.

Lark Hotels is a network of design-driven, independent-spirited hotels that focus on providing unique and experiential guest experiences. The brand acts as a hotel management, ownership and development company for independent hotels and manages sister brands including Bluebird by Lark and Lark Independent.

“Mews is a cutting-edge PMS that prioritizes innovative product development, and we’ve enjoyed watching both the growth and innovation that the team has achieved,” said Peter Twachtman, CEO. “We’ve experienced significant expansion across the US and Mews will future proof us as we continue our growth trajectory. Mews will be key in driving efficiencies across Lark Hotels while giving our guests even better experiences.”

As the hotel company accelerated their digital transformation, they required a PMS that would act as a hub for their vital software, from point-of-sale (POS) to accounting tools. Mews Marketplace offers over 1,000 secure and robust integrations with market-leading hospitality solutions and no connection fees.

This flexible marketplace setup also allows the brand to tailor integrations to each property, which is important given the diverse portfolio of hotels and experiences. Nikola Jasprica, VP of Revenue Management at Lark Hotels commented, “Embedding Mews marks a new beginning for Lark Hotels as we completely reimagine our tech stack. With Mews, we can integrate with thousands of providers that we couldn’t access previously. Mews’ user-friendly technology will provide an enhanced experience for our staff and guests alike, helping us to fulfil our vision of unique and experiential hospitality.”

The hotel company has an ambitious expansion target, growing their portfolio by 6-12 new properties each year. Mews is cloud-native, which means it can easily scale with the brand, creating consistent management and reporting across hotels. Meanwhile, Mews University enables faster onboardings thanks to self-serve training modules tailored to specific job roles.

“Lark Hotels is a truly exciting brand that’s really making a name for itself across the US, and we’re thrilled to power their hospitality with our technology,” said Richard Valtr, Founder of Mews. “Lark Hotels’ ambition and willingness to innovate was obvious from our first conversations, and I’m certain that their staff and guests will soon feel the many benefits of Mews.”
