Kicking off the year with a great start, the Kempinski Hotel had the privilege of being awarded again with the Travelife Gold Award – Sustainability in Tourism 2013 – 2015.
2013 finished with a well disserved award from The Definitive(ly) Good Guide, Malta’s most Authoritative Survey- Based Restaurant Guide, where the L’Ortolan Restaurant was nominated as a Restaurant Award Winner 2014.
Kicking off the year with a great start, the Kempinski Hotel had the privilege of being awarded again with the Travelife Gold Award – Sustainability in Tourism 2013 – 2015. This is achieved by displaying a strong commitment to sustainability and constantly looking for new opportunities for improvement as an eco friendly resort.
Following the hotel and hospitality industry awards one of the outstanding employees of the Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz, Mr. George Sultana was awarded as Young Tourism Worker of the Year 2013 by the Gozo Tourism Association.
The Kempinski has been also honored with the TripAdvisor’s Traveller’s Choice Award 2014. The Travellers’ Choice Awards are based on millions of reviews and opinions from TripAdvisor travellers’ world wide.
On top of all the nominations L’Ortolan Restaurant won the Silver Spoon Award and has been voted within the Top 30 Best Restaurants in the Maltese Islands, further more Il-Baldakkin Bistro & Lounge was awarded within the Top 10 Best Family-Oriented & Casual Dining in the Maltese Islands by ‘The 2014 WRMC – Malta Restaurant Awards’. These restaurants have been directly surveyed and inspected by professional survey teams with exact standards of cuisine quality, service and ambiance.
