SARDON DE DUERO, SPAIN – Abadía Retuerta LeDomaine, the exclusive hotel located in a restored 12th- century abbey surrounded by vineyards in Spain’s Duero winegrowing region, will reopen in March highlighting its new world-class spa, additional eight guest rooms and new guest experiences.

When the historic hotel re-opens on March 1, 2016, following its annual two-and-a-half month closure during winter, LeDomaine will offer a starting room rate in 2016 of $466 and packages that feature the bespoke services of the new spa.
Santuario LeDomaine Wellness & Spa is a nurturing and innovative sanctuary of holistic healing and wellness featuring 10,000-sq.-ft. of ultra-luxurious facilities, a ground-breaking “fusion wine” vinotherapy spa concept where the guest’s personalized treatment program is based on a blind tasting of wines, Europe’s first ‘Spa Sommeliers’ who guide guests on their wellness journey, and the highest level of individualization and guest service including Spa Butlers who welcome guests and assist at every step of their spa experience. The 900-year-old abbey’s former stables were transformed into the spa as well as eight spacious and exquisitely appointed new guest rooms, which have direct spa access.
Among the new programs are:
- Spa Gourmet Getaway, combining rejuvenative treatments with healthy cuisine for two guests. Included are accommodations for three nights, breakfast daily, welcoming foot ritual, Le Grand Cru two-hour spa journey, two lunches at Vinoteca and two dinners at Refectorio, free mini bar, free internet, use of recreational and fitness facilities, and upgrade and late check-out (subject to availability).
- Detox and Weight Care, a natural detox and wellness program. Included are accommodations for three nights double occupancy, in-room detox breakfast daily, three spa cuisine lunches at Vinoteca and three dinners at Refectorio, full butler service, wellness consultation, one-hour personal training session, yoga or pilates session daily, bicycle excursion through the vineyards, welcome foot ritual, one 60-minute Detox Wrap, one 60-minute Revitalizing Massage, one 60-minute Cryo Jetlag Reviver, free mini bar, free internet, use of recreational and fitness facilities, and upgrade and late check-out (subject to availability).
- Couples Romance Retreat, combining spa experiences for two with gourmet dining. Included are accommodations for two nights, in-room breakfast daily, two spa cuisine lunches at Vinoteca and two romantic dinners at Refectorio, full butler service, welcome bottle of Cava, welcome foot ritual, 60-minute Couples Massage with hydrotherapy bath, sauna and steam, 30-minute Wellness Circle, 60-minute Cryo Time Freeze Facial, rose petal turndown, free mini bar, free internet, use of recreational and fitness facilities, and upgrade and late check-out (subject to availability).
