European-inspired Marriott Hotel brand with entrepreneurial spirit enters upscale Biltmore area.

PHOENIX, ARIZONA – Located in the upscale Biltmore area, the 160-room AC Hotel Phoenix Biltmore is now open. The new hotel, part of AC Hotels by Marriott, a design-led European lifestyle hotel brand from Marriott International, is perfectly situated in the heart of the bustling Camelback Corridor, the premier office, retail, and entertainment destination in Metropolitan Phoenix.

“We are delighted to open our second AC Hotel in this thriving cultural destination of Phoenix,” said Benoit Racle, Global Brand Leader, AC Hotels by Marriott. “From its superb location to its contemporary art and architecture, AC Hotel Phoenix Biltmore will undoubtedly become a mainstay on the map for local and visiting business travelers alike.”

Rick Mansur, President & CEO of Azul Hospitality Group added, “The AC Hotel is a highly anticipated addition for the Biltmore area of Phoenix, and quite the accomplishment given such high barriers to entry for the market.  We believe that the sophisticated comfort and dynamic environment offered will appeal to discerning travelers who want to connect with the culture of the city.”

Founded in 1998 as a vision of Spanish hotelier Antonio Catalan, AC Hotels by Marriott was created with the belief that each aspect of the hotel experience should have a thoughtful response to “why?” AC Hotels edits away the unnecessary, allowing guests to focus on what’s important to them. AC Hotel Phoenix Biltmore will cater to those who are constantly on the go through its sleek European-inspired aesthetic, innovative beverage and food programming and intuitive service.

“We’re excited to open our doors and introduce guests and locals to the AC Hotel experience,” said David Belk, General Manager. “Visitors will love this location, surrounded by some of the best dining, shopping and entertainment options in the valley, while local patrons and businesses can enjoy the convenience of a contemporary and comfortable gathering place.”

The AC Lounge, where collaboration meets relaxation, serves as an ideal co-working space by day and social hub by night. Here guests can unwind with artful cocktails poured by bartenders who are able to share unique insight into the city while room service is replaced with the flexibility of a quick snack or an evening selection of shared tapas. The Lounge space also seamlessly extends outdoors so guests can gather by the fire pit under twinkle lights and the desert sky.

The AC Kitchen features all the comforts of the morning daily ritual and a popular European style breakfast spread featuring the brand’s signature French croissants, artisan-cured meats and more.

The AC Library provides a quiet space to linger and peruse the selection of inspiring titles that line the shelves, with topics ranging from modern art to design. Guests can also find complimentary computers and printers in this area, available 24/7, similar to traditional self-service business centers.

With more than 5,000 square feet of dedicated and flexible meeting and event space, AC Hotel Phoenix Biltmore can accommodate groups and events of up to 150 people.  The property boasts four versatile meeting spaces, including a Board Room, providing plenty of options depending on an event’s size and needs.  Meeting planners will also have control at their fingertips with access to the Marriott Meeting Services App.

The pet-friendly hotel also features an expansive fitness center featuring views of the hotel’s outdoor swimming pool and lounge area.

Complimentary perks for guests include overnight parking, Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and in-room smart TVs with Chromecast streaming, access to Netflix, YouTube, Pandora, and other top programming. Guests will also enjoy the luxury of mobile check-in/check out and key entry via their personal device.

Centrally located in one of the city’s most highly desired zip codes, AC Hotel Phoenix Biltmore is within walking distance to the acclaimed Biltmore Fashion Park Shopping Center, the Arizona Biltmore Resort and Golf Course— famously designed by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright— and the iconic Camelback Mountain. The Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is within a 15-minute drive.
