SHARIJAH, UAE – Luxurious resort-style living is soon to arrive at Al Zahia with the launch of an elegant new clubhouse. Set to be completed by the third quarter of 2021, The Clubhouse will become an exclusive and well-appointed hub for residents of Al Zahia. Designed with all the sophistication of a private resort, The Clubhouse will offer two swimming pools, a signature restaurant, gym, and a multipurpose hall for events, games, classes, and communal activities.

The Clubhouse will be located at the heart of Al Zahia – Sharjah’s premier lifestyle destination – and reflects Al Zahia's unique philosophy of placemaking. The philosophy is rooted in the belief that by crafting authentic spaces that resonate with residents, they can form emotional connections with their surroundings.

At The Clubhouse, families will build a lifetime of memories as they dive into the lap pools, recharge in the family cabanas, and share games of tennis and basketball on the professional courts. Healthy living will be promoted by fitness and wellness experts at the gym where private sessions will be available. Meanwhile, the signature restaurant will provide something for everyone on the menu. A comfortable and well-equipped place for friends and families to gather, socialise, and entertain themselves, the facility underlines Al Zahia’s desire to redefine the modern living experience and its commitment to continuously investing in the Sharjah community.

The Clubhouse will be at a walking distance from all neighbourhoods within Al Zahia, acting as a central playground for all ages. The luxurious hub is located within the 18,000 square metre Central Park joining the wider exclusive offerings at the Al Zahia community.

Shadi Al Azzeh, Al Zahia Project Head at Majid Al Futtaim Properties, said, “With the launch of The Clubhouse, we’re underlining our commitment to delivering a high-quality, integrated lifestyle through unparalleled experiences that address the needs and aspirations of residents. As a hub for the community, The Clubhouse will be central to the experience, offering residents the highest standards of entertainment and leisure. As we approach the completion of Al Zahia, we will continue to invest in innovative experiences that enrich our local communities.”

Walid Al Hashimi, Sharjah Holding’s Chief Executive Officer, added, “Being an elegant and entertaining space designed to make people feel at home, The Clubhouse brings us a step closer to our vision for a new Sharjah – one in which culture, recreation, meaningful social interactions, and luxury take centre stage. Al Zahia is set to contribute upwards of AED 5.5 billion to the emirate’s economy, while satisfying the demands of sophisticated and aspirational families eager to enjoy the best of modern residential luxury.”

Al Zahia, Sharjah’s premier lifestyle destination, is part of the strategic partnership between Majid Al Futtaim Properties and Sharjah Asset Management. Upon completion by 2023, it will include a total of 3,700 homes. The community is located off Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road and directly on University City Road. To date, 55 per cent of the project has been sold, with 800 families already in residence.
