Aloft Liverpool hotel comes alive with secret gig launch

Aloft Liverpool has transformed the city’s iconic Royal Insurance Building into a stylish and contemporary city-centre hotel.

LIVERPOOL, UK – On Thursday the Aloft Liverpool hotel burst onto the scene with a series of intimate, secret gigs to mark the hotel’s official launch.

Collaborating with unique music movement, Sofar Sounds, the gigs paid credence to the city’s cultural status and music heritage by celebrating emerging local talent. Guests including Jennifer Ellison, Ryan Thomas and Philip Olivier joined the celebrations and enjoyed performances from up and coming acts, such as Bill Ryder-Jones and Stealing Sheep.
