Located in a privileged location chosen by a more sophisticated traveler, Magma Resort Santorini is the most anticipated opening in Santorini just in time for Greek summer season 2022, the 59-room property will be the first Hyatt branded resort in the Greek islands, located amongst traditional old vineyards on the lava-made slopes of Vourvoulos on this legendary Cycladic island.
“This is a destination in Santorini that is designed for those who may have visited the island years ago, yet have been reluctant to return given the high mass tourism the island has received,” said AMPR President & CEO Andria Mitsakos. “As someone who lives in Greece full time, I welcome the opportunity to return to places I’ve visited, but experience them in a new light. Magma will do this. It’s the new Santorini.”
