Anguilla’s boutique resort, Zemi Beach House appoints new Digital Marketing Manager and Senior Sales and Events Manager

Hospitality Leaders, Catherine Duncan and Meghan Pearis join the LXR property’s executive team.

SHOAL BAY EAST, ANGUILLA – Zemi Beach House (Zemi), the award-winning 76-room LXR Hotels & Resorts luxury boutique property located on Shoal Bay East announced the appointment of two new team members, Catherine Duncan as Digital Marketing Manager and Meghan Pearis as Senior Sales & Events Manager. These accomplished hospitality leaders both bring individual expertise to Zemi’s growing executive team and will further position Zemi as the go-to destination in Anguilla for accommodations, weddings, fine dining and more.

In Duncan’s new role as Zemi’s first in-house, onsite Digital Marketing Manager, she will bring more than ten years of marketing and social media experience to create thoughtful, award-winning campaigns and content through data analysis to further elevate Zemi to a global audience.

“I’m delighted to join Zemi Beach House as its first-ever Digital Marketing Manager. It’s wonderful to be part of a team that treats their customers with such care and 5-star hospitality service in every way possible,” said Duncan. “My goal is to ensure our guest’s digital experience with the hotel matches the same level of meaningful connections created here.”

Duncan moved to Anguilla in 2020, relocating from the United Kingdom where she had experience across many sectors, including property development with high-end hospitality company, ICMI Group, to food and beverage programming, working with Mowi, the world’s largest seafood producer. Duncan is a certified marketer for both Google and Facebook and thrives in finding new and meaningful ways to connect with people on and offline. She obtained her Visual Communications and Digital Media Degree from City of Glasgow College in Scotland, U.K.

Additionally, Meghan Pearis has nearly a decade of luxury hospitality experience and in her role as Senior Sales and Events Manager, Pearis will be responsible for developing new leisure/FIT, group, and wedding business for the hotel under the leadership of Antoine Alsayah, Director of Sales & Marketing.

Prior to this role, Pearis was a Meeting & Incentive Sales & Marketing Manager for the Monaco Government Tourist Office, where she played a substantial role in boosting the Principality’s business tourism sector for the U.S. and Canada. Previously, Pearis was an Account Executive for Dubai Business Events, in addition to other roles within the hospitality industry. Her expertise and connections from representing leading international tourist boards gives her a unique advantage for her new role at Zemi Beach House. Pearis obtained a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from Rollins College in Winter Park, FL.
