Atlantis’ new all-inclusive group program expands ALHI all inclusive Hotel & Resort options for groups

ALHI Four- and Five-Diamond resorts and hotels offering an all-inclusive group package option are impressively diverse, with options available in the Caribbean region, and across the U.S.

WASHINGTON, DC – Meeting professionals, business executives, incentive specialists and association executives considering an all-inclusive group plan for their program should contact Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI), which now offers more than 50 Four- and Five-Diamond quality all-inclusive group options within its worldwide portfolio. This now includes Atlantis, Paradise Island in the Bahamas, which just launched an all-inclusive group package for groups for programs held September 24-December 16, 2015, or in the fall of 2016 or 2017, according to ALHI President Jim Schultenover.

Set amidst the lush tropical splendor of Paradise Island, Bahamas, Atlantis is an awe-inspiring destination that features 3,400 rooms and suites, and a state-of-the-art Conference Center with 200,000 square feet of meeting space. The very appealing Atlantis all-inclusive group package includes: luxurious accommodations with spectacular views; one meal per day per meal period for each attendee (with more than 10 dining options, ranging from fine to casual); deluxe brand alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at more than 10 on-property bars and lounges; basic Wi-Fi for up to four devices per room; gratuities; shuttle transportation on-property; surcharges and all resort taxes. The package also includes access to Atlantis’ Marine Exhibits, the 141-acre Aquaventure water park, fitness center, tennis courts, lap pool, daily fish feeding and marine life education, first-run movies in the Atlantis theater, entertainment in select areas (such as the lobby bar, and Dragon’s Nightclub), and pool and beach chair use. In addition, the group receives 20% off dolphin encounters, 20% off of spa menu prices at the serene 30,000-square-foot Mandara Spa; and 50% off of published greens fees and complimentary club rental.

Dining options for attendees taking advantage of Atlantis’ all-inclusive group package includes Bahamian Club, Casa D’Angelo, Chop Stix, Marina Pizzeria, Marketplace, Murray’s Deli, Olives, Sea Grapes, Virgil’s, and all of the outdoor cafes (except for Cain and Cascades). Beverages may be enjoyed by attendees at such Atlantis options as Bahamian Club, Beach Tower Lobby Bar, Casa D’Angelo Bar, Chop Stix, Coral Pool Deck, Coral Tower Lobby Bar, Dragon’s Bar, Olives Bar, Plato’s Bar, Virgil’s Bars, and all outdoor bars except Cain. Groups also have the option to replace a meal period with a banquet for their attendees from select menus at no additional charge, and can have use of basic staging, and 10% off A/V purchased through Zamar (not including rigging, permits or electric).

In addition to Atlantis, ALHI has an impressive array of other attractive all-inclusive program choices in the Caribbean, and – surprisingly to some – many enticing AAA Four- and Five-Diamond opportunities across the U.S. as well.

“All-inclusive options have become increasingly popular for incentive/recognition programs, and for meetings too,” said Jim Schultenover, President of ALHI, which is a prestigious Global Sales Organization (GSO) that serves the North American meetings, conventions and incentive marketplace with its Global Sales Organization responsibilities for its membership of more than 170 Four- and Five-Diamond quality hotels and resorts worldwide.

“While ‘all-inclusive’ was thought of exclusively for leisure travelers in the past, all-inclusive now has grown to become an appealing and widely accepted, quality-driven option for group programs,” said Schultenover. “There can be many advantages to conducting meetings and incentive programs at properties that offer this all-inclusive option to groups, just as there are many benefits to selecting a traditional plan at a hotel and/or resort that does not offer this. With all-inclusive resorts – such as with many of the Members of the ‘ALHI Caribbean Collection’ specialty segment – one rate typically covers the guest rooms, food, drinks and scheduled entertainment. The rate also may even include appealing recreational options like snorkeling and scuba diving. So it makes budgeting the entire program much easier, as the planner knows virtually all of the costs up front. This can be very appealing, particularly for planners who have tight budgets.”

Another advantage clients have shared, according to Schultenover, is that attendees like that they do not need to worry about paying for any food & beverage, recreational activities, or basic incremental charges when at the resort or hotel, and can essentially “leave their wallet at home.”

ALHI Four- and Five-Diamond resorts and hotels offering an all-inclusive group package option are impressively diverse, with options available in the Caribbean region, and across the U.S. Planners can select from 50+ ALHI hotels, resorts and ships that offer this option.
