Azul Beach Resort Cap Cana welcomes guests in the Dominican Republic

The resort features 251 tastefully designed rooms and suites.

MIAMI – Earlier this month, Azul Beach Resort Cap Cana opened its doors. Located on the world-renowned Playa Juanillo in the Dominican Republic, famed for its sugar-white sands and captivating turquoise waters, the resort is only 15 minutes from the Punta Cana airport and adjacent to the recently opened Margaritaville Island Reserve Cap Cana. The resort features a variety of luxurious rooms and suites, vast food & beverage options that cater to every palate, nonstop activities ranging from kayaks to cooking lessons, access to the world-class St. Somewhere Spa and much more.

The Azul Beach Resorts brand is known for its luxury, all-inclusive and family-friendly offerings set on some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and expanding the brand to the exclusive community of Cap Cana is an honor,” said Mario Mathieu, SVP of Business Development, Design and Construction at management company Karisma Hotels & Resorts. “It has been a goal of ours to expand our footprint in the Dominican Republic, and we look forward to welcoming guests to experience the wealth of pleasures this amazing resort provides.”

The resort features 251 tastefully designed rooms and suites. Guests have a wide array of accommodations to choose from, including luxurious ocean view, beachfront, and swim-up suites. All accommodations feature a minibar stocked daily, furnished outdoor balcony or terrace and luxurious bathroom with his and her sinks.

Azul Beach Resort Cap Cana is also a foodie’s paradise, with access to nine restaurants and three bars. Within resort grounds are four dedicated food & beverage locations, including The Restaurant, offering interactive themed dinner experiences; La Taverna, a seafood bar and grill that features a fresh raw and cold bar; Restaurant 10, a farm-to-table concept that artfully marries five flavor profiles with five natural elements to create an adventurous culinary experience; Barefoot Grill, a beachside eatery perfect for grabbing a quick bite without straying too far from the pool or beach haven; The Bar, the lobby piano bar offering a diverse selection of carefully selected gin and gin-based cocktails; and Splash, a swim-up bar offering panoramic views of Playa Juanillo.

Additionally, guests have access to the Entertainment Village at neighboring Margaritaville Island Reserve Cap Cana, which offers a variety of immersive culinary experiences, such as handcrafted Italian creations at Frank & Lola’s, Pan Asian street fare-inspired cuisine at Mon So Wi; succulent barbecue specialties at LandShark Brewery and Grill; and Punch bar and lounge; and decadent cuts grilled to perfection at JWB Steakhouse at additional cost.

Furthermore, the resort offers complimentary non-motorized sports, including kayaks, boogie boards, and Hobie Cats; a daily activity calendar that features Spanish lessons, yoga, stretching classes, aqua aerobics, dance lessons, and cooking classes; and access to the next door Sports Hub, including pickleball, tennis, and a dance studio. Kids ages 4-12 can enjoy stimulating and entertaining activities offered daily with supervision at the Playhouse. Meanwhile, parents looking for rejuvenation can choose from a selection of treatments at the 11,000-square-foot St. Somewhere Spa, home to world-class amenities including 15 treatment rooms and a full-service beauty salon.
