With over 27 years of industry experience, Scott Youngblood most recently served as general manager for Embassy Suites by Hilton Washington Square in Portland.
BOSTON, THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – Benchmark, Pyramid Luxury & Lifestyle, the independent luxury and lifestyle hotel services of Pyramid Global Hospitality, has named Scott Youngblood area general manager for its five hotels based in Portland, Oregon. The regional properties overseen by Youngblood include Hotel deLuxe, Sentinel, Hotel Lucia, The Heathman Hotel and Dossier.

With over 27 years of industry experience, Youngblood most recently served as general manager for Embassy Suites by Hilton Washington Square in Portland. He has also served on the Oregon Tourism Commission for seven years, including the past three years as Commission Chair overseeing one of the nation's most innovative and respected destination management and marketing organizations.

A Portland area native, Youngblood has extensive leadership experience in luxury, independent, and lifestyle hotels. The hospitality business has been his life’s work; he entered the industry at the age of 15. Youngblood and his wife have three children and reside in the Portland area.
