During a European conference of Choice Hotels International held in Prague on 24th-27th May, the host Clarion Congress Hotel Prague received two awards: Best Clarion Hotel in the Central Europe in 2008 and then Best Clarion Hotel in all Europe in 2009.
Choice Hotels International has more than 5,800 hotels. Its sole representative in the Czech and Slovak Republics is CPI Hotels with three hotel brands: Clarion, Quality and Comfort. “Clarion has a dominant position in our portfolio. The standard of this four-star brand has proved its worth not only in the European market but directly in the Czech Republic. Clarion Congress Hotel Prague was opened in mid-March last year. “In all, 473 events were staged here in the hotel’s year’s existence and the conference rooms were used on average to 82%,” said the hotel director Miroslav Bukva. “Many events can take place at the same time without checking each other thanks to the extensive conference facilities. Our hotel also attracts organizers of minor events. Lunch in the inviting surroundings of the hotel restaurant certainly contributes to the success of a business meeting and our Restaurant Gourmet is absolutely ideal for a nice romantic dinner,” the director described the opportunities of the hotel.
The Vysocany hotel commands attention not only as a result of major congresses and social events but also as a result of a number of events under the auspices of the Czech presidency of the EU, such as the recent conference Eurochambres.
