Best Western International will be showcasing its epicurean expertise this month, as it takes center stage at the Malaysia International Gourmet Festival.
BANGKOK – The company’s new Malaysian flagship hotel, BEST WESTERN PREMIER Dua Sentral in Kuala Lumpur, will be taking part in the month-long event, offering a range of exquisite culinary creations at its main international restaurant, Grill 582.
Leading the culinary charge for Best Western is the hotel’s executive chef, Jaffery Othman. With 18 years’ experience, Chef Jaffery worked under world-class Michelin-starred chefs including Marco Pierre White and Raymond Blanc, and has personally cooked for leading lights including Queen Elizabeth II, Tony Blair, Kylie Minogue and the Manchester United football team.
According to Glenn de Souza, Best Western International’s Vice President International Operations – Asia & the Middle East, the Malaysia International Gourmet Festival is the ideal way of showcasing the company’s lesser-known culinary offerings.
“Due to our proud history as a midscale hotel group, offering comfortable and convenient accommodation, Best Western’s food and beverage expertise has often been overlooked,” Mr. de Souza said. “But our new generation of upscale BEST WESTERN PLUS and luxury BEST WESTERN PREMIER hotels has allowed us to concentrate on our F&B offerings and develop some truly exceptional restaurants.
