Brisas Group opens Galeria Plaza Irapuato in the colonial state of Guanajuato

The new Galeria Plaza is the group’s first hotel development in the area.

NEW YORK – The award-winning hotel brand Brisas Group announced the opening of its newest urban property, Galeria Plaza Irapuato. The newly built hotel is the group’s first hotel development in Mexico’s colonial state of Guanajuato. Galeria Plaza Irapuato is part of the group’s business brand, Galeria Plaza, which focuses on providing an unsurpassed level of service to business and leisure travelers.

With a privileged location on the Irapuato beltway, the modern 138-room hotel offers immediate access to nearby cities, the Bajio airport and the Industrial Parks. The hotel also boasts an exciting new hotel concept merging a contemporary Asian design with Mexican hospitality. Galeria Plaza Irapuato brings the first traditional Japanese ofuro to the region, offering travelers an opportunity to soak and relax after a long day of exploration or business meetings.

Galeria Plaza Irapuato brings plenty of event and convention spaces with state-of-the-art technology for up to 680 guests. Its outdoor rooftop pool and terrace can fit up to 150 guests and it’s an ideal location for social events.

Additional amenities include a fitness center with top notch equipment, a luxury spa featuring the prestigious ESPA products and a putting green for some fun and relaxation.

Galeria Plaza Irapuato was designed by Mexican Japanese architect Enrique Shibayama. Located in the city of Irapuato, the hotel is just 25 minutes from the Guanajuato International Airport. It offers cutting-edge technology and convenient 24-hour business facilities allowing travelers to enjoy a comfortable stay.
