Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel unveils transformation capturing the 150-year-old heritage of the building

Designed by Ashley McCabe, the renovation of the suites is inspired by the nearby Bristol Cathedral and local Bath Stone which also adorns the outside of the hotel.

LONDON – Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel is redefining premium hospitality in the heart of Bristol city centre following a multi-million-pound restoration, the property unveils a noble transformation that captures the 150-year-old Victorian heritage of the building and its West Country surroundings. Royally claiming the status of the oldest hotel in Bristol, the renovation is inclusive of the hotel’s bedrooms, six meeting rooms and 20 breakout rooms. The hotel boasts some of the most spacious event spaces in Bristol, including the iconic Grade II listed Victorian Palm Court room which has been meticulously restored.

“The noble renovation serves as an example of how Marriott Hotels has consistently pushed the boundaries of innovation in travel to create experiences that inspire our guests”, said General Manager Niten Sobti. “We have helped bring the historic Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel into a new era with an elevated transformation that fits our guests’ needs for a premium experience, with stylish navy and grey hues and soft metallic furnishings throughout.”

Designed by Ashley McCabe, the renovation of the suites is inspired by the nearby Bristol Cathedral and local Bath Stone which also adorns the outside of the hotel. Each suite features upgraded amenities including four-poster beds and an entertaining space whilst the refurbished bedrooms offer quality bedding, large desks and comfortable chairs.

The Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel also provides a culinary destination outlet for guests to enjoy at Miller & Carter Steakhouse – serving the finest steak by the hotel’s master butcher. Guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner as well as an extensive bar list at the restaurant’s flagship restaurant. In addition to the restaurant, the hotel features a fitness centre with an indoor pool, wellequipped gym and serene day spa.
