New multi-million pound extension offers completely unrivalled experiences for UK and international MICE market.

Loch Lomond five-star resort, Cameron House Hotel, will complete the final phase of its extensive transformation when it opens its luxury Lomond Wing this week. The multi-million-pound extension will significantly scale up the resort’s already impressive facilities, adding 68 new luxurious bedrooms and suites, a 700-square-metre ballroom and a new loch-facing terrace.

Establishing Cameron House as one of the UK’s leading MICE resorts, the new Lomond Wing offers an unrivalled collection of meeting, event, and incentive spaces only 25 minutes from Glasgow International Airport and 30 minutes from Glasgow City Centre.

The versatile, accessible space can be adapted to accommodate large celebratory gatherings such as weddings, through to award ceremonies and corporate conferences (with a capacity for up to 500).

The expansion, which completes the four-year restoration project at Cameron House, is adjoined to the main hotel building and provides stunning views of the 24-mile-long Loch Lomond with floor-to-ceiling windows across the façade. It adds to Cameron House’s existing six function spaces including the recently opened luxury 29-seat cinema.

The new Lomond Wing facilities include:

  • Loch Lomond Suite: this magnificent new event space will be the largest event suite at Cameron House. Built with a dedicated grand entrance into the reception area, and suitable for large gatherings, the new ballroom is perfect for weddings and dinners with up to 300 guests, and in a theatre or reception style arrangement can accommodate up to 500 people.
  • Rooms and suites: the new wing features an additional 68 luxurious bedrooms including four suites, bringing the resort’s total offering to 208 bedrooms (including 28 suites). Guests will benefit from the new luxurious, large balconies that provide unrivalled views and a truly memorable stay overlooking the loch, glens and mountains.
  • Corporate packages: packages include ‘The Ultimate Incentive’, offering guests or delegates the ultimate VIP experience with exclusive access to the Resort, including the use of all facilities. Bespoke packages can also be created with the events team to suit specific needs, including kilt fittings ahead of Gala Dinners, an exclusive lunch on Inchmurrin Island, gift deliveries to guests’ bedrooms, and a theatrical dinner showcasing the very best of Scotland’s gastronomic larder.

The Lomond Wing has been designed to provide an environment of relaxed sophistication and comfort, incorporating bespoke designs by Glasgow-based Timorous Beasties, while luxurious touches include cashmere throws from Scotland’s luxury cashmere and fine woollens brand, Johnstons of Elgin.

Andy Roger, Resort Director at Cameron House, said: “The MICE industry is a significant part of attracting tourism and interest in Scotland as a global destination. Our new Lomond Wing further positions Cameron House as one of the leading resorts for corporate and private events, not only in Scotland but also internationally.

“Our award-winning team is passionate about creating memorable experiences whether that’s intimate get-togethers, corporate occasions, or elegant weddings and large celebrations. The new space provides even more opportunities for designing days to meet our guests’ needs – all set against the unforgettable and iconic backdrop of Loch Lomond.”

Cameron House Resort boasts unrivalled experiences including an award-winning spa with a rooftop infinity pool, an 18-hole championship golf course, a state-of-the-art Leisure Club, and a 234-berth marina. From loch to land, there is a choice of exhilarating and relaxing resort activities ideal for guests, corporate away days, and MICE travellers.
