Canada’s most innovative hotel opens its doors in the heart of downtown Montreal

A stone’s throw from Palais des congres, Hotel Monville is the first in the country to use a delivery robot for room service.

MONTREAL – Since March 15, 2018, Montreal has been offering visitors an incomparable experience with the official opening of the Hotel Monville, the brand new independent and 100% connected hotel, located on De Bleury Street in the heart of Metropolitan Montreal's Quartier International.

Setting new trends in the industry, this 20-storey, four-star hotel offers 269 guest rooms including 54 suites. Designed by the team that successfully relaunched the Hotel Gault, Monville is redefining customer service by offering the latest integrated technological innovations.

21st Century Hotel
Monville is the first and only hotel in Canada to provide room service using an autonomous delivery robot that carries orders directly to guest rooms, in record time. This robot, developed by the California firm Savioke, helps make a stay at Monville a truly unique experience, in harmony with the growing digital age.

Guests can check in easily and quickly at electronic kiosks, where they will also automatically receive their room keys. Human receptionists can thus dedicate more time to helping guests discover Montreal's many attractions.

A Truly Meticulous Montreal Experience
Guests at the Hotel Monville will also appreciate a true a la Montreal experience, with the city's spirit carefully and seamlessly woven into the entire building. Examples include the awe-inspiring lobby artwork from world-renowned photographer Valerie Jodoin Keaton, staff uniforms by Frank and Oak, bedroom lighting by Lambert et Fils, 100% all natural personal care products from Oneka, and the materials used for furniture construction. The entire hotel thus reminds guests of what makes Montreal a truly unique world-class destination.

In the Heart of the Action
Conveniently located just a few steps from Palais des Congres, historic Old Montreal, and the vibrant Quartier des spectacles, Hotel Monville will appeal to business travelers and tourists alike, inviting them to discover some of the city's most well known jewels, all within walking distance.

Hotel Monville will appeal to Montrealers, as well, with its Gourmet Monville restaurant offering delicious dine-in and take-out options for visitors and guests. Located in the impressive hotel lobby that doubles as an informal working and reading space, this grab & go service will offer a menu inspired by Montreal's creative and eclectic gastronomy.

Hotel Monville will transform downtown happy hours (known to Montrealers as 5 a 7), cocktail meetings, and soirees with a bar that boasts a distinctly original wine list and a signature rooftop terrace, where guests can enjoy a 180 degree view of downtown Montreal and Mount Royal.

Window to the City
Both the interior and exterior of the hotel showcase the city, with a unique and sophisticated design that is the brainchild of the architectural firm acdf*. Their attention to detail also ensured that Hotel Monville meets the highest and strictest environmental standards.

All rooms and suites have large windows that, alongside the paintings that adorn the walls, provide panoramic views of the city, the mountain, or the Jacques-Cartier Bridge. The same views are available from for the hotel's six meetings rooms.

Comfort and Luxury
Comfort and luxury are at the heart of Hotel Monville's design. Each room features a king size bed, a rain shower, and an HD television measuring 50 inches or more. The hotel also offers guests access to a gym with best in class equipment – accessible 24/7 – and Wi-Fi throughout at no extra charge.

Moreover, through its Preferred Hotels & Resorts loyalty program, guests can benefit from a number of benefits and rewards shared across 600 hotels in 85 countries. The hotel is also pet-friendly certified, offering rooms where your favourite pets are more than welcome.

"The Hotel Monville has been designed to welcome those who wish to fully immerse themselves in the Montreal experience no matter how long they stay, they'll be sure to enjoy the people, the art, and the city's boldness and vibrant lifestyle," said Jean-Cedric Callies, Director of Sales and Marketing, Hotel Monville. "We were inspired by this wonderful city and this hotel is a natural extension of its warmth and spirit."
