Cassandra Redel joins Seven Hills as sales and events manager

Cassandra Redel is responsible for managing all aspects of events at Seven Hills.

LENOX, MASS. – Cassandra Redel is the new sales and events manager at historic Seven Hills, a 57-room boutique hotel with a Gilded Age legacy in Lenox, Mass. Redel is responsible for managing all aspects of events at Seven Hills, long a favorite for destination weddings, on the heels of a top-to-bottom renovation that has transformed its public spaces into sophisticated settings for high-level meetings, corporate retreats and social events.

Redel brings to her position vast experience in event planning and design and has lent her skills and expertise to some of the most beautiful locations worldwide. Since moving to the Berkshires in 1990, Redel has worked with prominent inns and private estates in the area and throughout New England and New York. She previously lived in Los Angeles, where she launched Fleur Cassandra, providing decorating, design and event planning services to high-profile corporations and private customers throughout southern California. Her work as a wedding planner and decorator has also taken her abroad to Europe, Asia and the Caribbean, among others.

With the completion of its renovation this spring, Seven Hills’ original 1911 mansion now offers an open floor plan and 5,000 square feet of air-conditioned function space. The Hawthorne Room accommodates 150 and Wharton Ballroom 170, while three smaller rooms – the Spencer, Housatonic and Greylock – are ideal for smaller gatherings and breaks. The hotel’s patio invites al fresco gatherings in warm weather, and there are several lovely spots within Seven Hill’s 27 acres of lawns, woods and gardens for outdoor wedding ceremonies and receptions.
