GREENBELT, MD. – Greenbelt, Md.-based Chesapeake Hospitality announced that it has taken over management of the Hilton Garden Inn Fort Myers in Fort Myers, Fla. Kim Sims, president of Chesapeake Hospitality, made the announcement.
Chesapeake’s demonstrated expertise in managing property renovations will be critical to the immediate success of the hotel as the owners embark on a $3 million renovation project. Updates to the property will include a complete refresh of the 126 guest rooms and renovating the lobby to exemplify the Hilton brand’s pavilion concept intended to conjure the spirit of an outdoor garden party.
The Hilton Garden Inn Fort Myers, conveniently located just 9 miles from Southwest Florida International Airport, features a 24-hour fitness center, a sparkling outdoor pool and hosts more than 3,500 square feet of meeting/event space. It is a recipient of the 2013 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award in recognition of its outstanding traveler reviews online.
