CIIC expands New York City hospitality footprint with voco Times Square South, an IHG Hotel

The award-winning Public Relations agency has been chosen as the agency of record for the new NYC lifestyle hotel.

NEW YORK, NY – Award-winning travel and lifestyle public relations agency, CIIC PR (Carolyn Izzo Integrated Communications), has announced its partnership with voco Times Square South, an IHG Hotel. CIIC has been selected to lead the hotel’s PR efforts, assisting in creative programming and brand awareness development in the U.S. market through integrated public relations strategies.

IHG Hotel & Resorts and Ascott Residence Trust announced the opening of voco Times Square South in November 2021. The property is located in the epicenter of Manhattan’s top attractions, just walking distance from Times Square, the Theater District, Macy’s Herald Square, Madison Square Garden, and Hudson Yards.

Launched in 2018, voco Hotels is a premium brand affiliated with IHG Hotels & Resorts that provides guests with a dependably upscale yet casually charming experience. IHG Hotels & Resorts currently operates 31 open voco hotels properties around the world with an additional 43 in the global pipeline, including a joint voco Hotel and Holiday Inn project scheduled to open in downtown Chicago later this year.

Backed by a guarantee of quality, consistency and safety for all guest preferences and needs, there are currently five voco hotels in the United States. voco Times Square South is the second location in New York City, joining voco the Franklin New York. With 224 modern guest rooms, the hotel is also home to an outdoor terrace, greenhouse and the Lightwell Cafe & Bar for drinks and light bites. voco Times Square South is committed to sustainability and reduces plastic use and water consumption through various implementations throughout the property.
