Concur and AccorHotels partner to extend global benefits of managed corporate travel programs

Partnership allows business travelers to book direct with more than 3,800 AccorHotels properties worldwide.

BELLEVUE, WASH. – Concur, a leading provider of integrated travel and expense management solutions and services, announced AccorHotels Group as its newest global TripLink partner. Through this integration, business travelers will be able to book directly with any AccorHotels website, while still giving their travel managers the visibility, benefits and tools available with all bookings made through Concur.

“This partnership with AccorHotels is a tremendous step in expanding the benefits of Concur TripLink to customers outside North America, especially in Europe and Australia,” said Tim MacDonald, executive vice president of Travel for Concur. “Concur TripLink captures travel and spend wherever it happens, and through this partnership we are providing all the benefits of Concur while providing visibility into direct bookings with the largest hotel chain in Europe.”

Through Concur TripLink, corporate travelers can book their negotiated corporate fares on AccorHotels.com and automatically have the trip data, including itineraries populated in Concur. This visibility helps travel managers improve policy compliance and duty of care efforts. Concur TripLink also ensures that travelers who might book directly with AccorHotels will receive their corporate discounts and benefits.

“As we observed business travelers’ behaviors and the increasing use of mobile communications due to a more widespread use of smartphones, tablets and mobile apps, we understood the challenges faced by our customers when it comes to applying their travel policy. That’s why, through this partnership with Concur, AccorHotels is thrilled not only to provide business travelers with the booking flexibility they need, but also to accompany and to help companies to improve the visibility of and the control over their hotel’s expenses,” explains Vanessa Heydorff, VP Business Travel for AccorHotels.
