A spirited, cosmopolitan home away from home, Cosme exuberantly celebrates the joy of life and features a holistic wellness concept and a private beach club allowing guests to dip their toes into the pristine Aegean waters, whilst enjoying cocktails and sunny bites on the seaside loungers alongside a relaxed summer soundtrack.
Set against the backdrop and designed as an extension of the soulful, whitewashed village of Naoussa, Cosme allows guests to experience beachside Greek island charm with the clear blue sea within arm’s reach. The design is characterised by the one-of-a-kind Cyclades aesthetic of the ‘The Aegean Touch,’ created by architecture and interior design team, ID Laboratorium. The authentic island décor elegantly blends rare elements from around the world with bold Cycladic lines throughout the resort’s 40 suites to the beachfront restaurant where guests can revel at the expansive bay vistas. Design details throughout Cosme reference the style and beauty of Paros: from the characteristics of the indigenous houses and buildings, references to local traditions and rituals to the hotel’s half-moon pool designed to mirror the beautiful bay of Naoussa. Meandering pathways throughout the property create an intimate village-style feel, reminiscent of Naoussa itself, encouraging chance encounters and serendipitous moments of discovery.
Cosme’s 40 suites envelope guests in a luxurious narrative of Paros, balancing the traditional textures and local stone with carefully curated adornments by contemporary Greek artists, combined with original gravures of Paros’ folk life and naval tradition. Art at Cosme is as integral as the feeling of the sea and local cues in the architecture, with an eclectic mix of native multimedia artists such as Margarita Myrogianni, Naked Summers, and Terpsichori on display throughout the hotel.
Guests can also find the ultimate wellness oasis in Elios, Cosme’s spa and wellness hub. Inspired by the ever-present water element in the islands of the Cyclades, it features a star-gazing area at the highest point of the hotel, ideal for mind-broadening yoga and meditation rituals, while overlooking the harbor town of Naoussa and the resort’s private beach.
Celebrated Greek chef Yiannis Kioroglou will be leading the culinary journey at Cosme bringing his passion for ‘Medite-grecian’ cuisine to the hotel’s dining destinations. Having joined the Cosme team from La Petite Maison in Cannes and La Guerite in Saint Barth and with a background in some of Europe’s favourite dining spots, Yiannis remains faithful to his Greek roots and breathes Greek ‘philoxenia’ in all his culinary creations. Each recipe reflects the generosity and laid back yet rich traditions of Paros, Greece and the Mediterranean sea.
