Courtyard Long Beach Downtown elevates travel experience with distinctive guest room evolution

Spacious new sleeping quarters at Downtown Long Beach hotel boast high-tech amenities, refreshed decor.

LONG BEACH, CALIF. – Courtyard Long Beach Downtown’s California-crafted guest room concept completes an exciting renewal of the hotel including public spaces and amenities. This multi-million dollar renovation embraces the essence of the area, providing a relaxing sense that truly reflects the region.

The downtown Long Beach hotel’s 216 spacious guest rooms maximize the abundance of year-round natural light, bringing the outside in through the use of custom murals created from Long Beach’s archives. The use of indigenous stone, wood and fiber products, along with an earthy color palette, add to the quality and character. Further complementing this guest room renewal are intuitive features including coffee makers, flat-panel Smart TVs, extra charging stations, iHome systems and complimentary high-speed Internet – all embracing the modern day traveler.

“We are delighted to introduce our guest room concept curated by local design group Vanrooy,” said General Manager Silvano Merlo. “Embracing the essence and vitality of our fabulous area, we provide a distinctive new experience while continuing to offer the same exemplary service that our customers appreciate.”

The residential lobby of the hotel near the Long Beach Convention Center features gathering areas for media, business and relaxation. Celebrity-chef inspired restaurant James Republic provides a genuine gathering place for the neighborhood. Embracing the California coastal availability and seasonality, the menu changes daily to provide the most elevated dining experience.

An outdoor pool area, fitness facilities and nearly 7,000 square feet of meeting space and unparalleled catering by James Republic round out the full-service amenities provided by the hotel in downtown Long Beach, CA.
