CSM Lodging completed renovations at Courtyard by Marriott Seattle North/Lynnwood Everett

The new Courtyard by Marriott Seattle North/Lynnwood Everett sports a transformed lobby decorated using a modern, minimalist decor.

MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA – CSM Lodging, a division of CSM Corporation, has announced the completion of an extensive renovation of the Courtyard by Marriott Seattle North/Lynnwood Everett, located in Lynnwood, Washington, just north of Seattle. CSM Lodging purchased the 164-key property in January of last year. The renovation is part of a $20 Million portfolio-wide renovation program in which CSM Lodging is engaged, involving nearly a third its hotel group nationwide. Renovations have transformed the Lynnwood property into a sleek, modern hotel and include facility improvements as well as service enhancements.

“When we purchased this hotel last year, we began immediate planning to upgrade and improve the property,” stated Bill Upshaw, president of CSM Lodging. “It is with great pleasure that we now reintroduce this newly renovated and beautiful hotel to the Seattle market, to our customers, and to travel professionals.”

The new Courtyard by Marriott Seattle North/Lynnwood Everett sports a transformed lobby decorated using a modern, minimalist decor. The space features warm, slate-grey quartz floors with insets of custom Axminster carpet, and comfortable lounge seating groupings along with a large communal table for gathering or surfing the Internet via the hotel’s complimentary WiFi. Also included in the new lobby is a theatre area with a large 50-inch flat-screen TV. Two other 50-inch flat-screens have been installed in the hotel as well, including in the property’s Bar. Additionally, a new Business Center has been situated in the lobby for the convenience of guests.

In the hotel’s new Bistro restaurant, customers will find rich floor treatments of warm, wood-appearing plank tile on which rest contemporary furnishings in deep and contrasting shades of blue, earthy browns, with highlights of citron yellow. The renovated property now also features a dramatic new outside patio furnished as an outdoor living room with comfortable all-weather sofas and warmed by the glow of a fire pit.

Guest corridors have been transformed, too, into vibrant spaces leading guests to their renovated room accommodations. Sophisticated autumnal shades have been incorporated into guestroom floor treatments, complemented with soft neutral wall treatments and a new Seattle-themed art program that has been designed to prompt emotions of relaxation and renewal. All guestroom furnishings have been updated, including new beds, sofas, lounge chairs and desk chairs.

Since opening in 1999, the Courtyard by Marriott Seattle North/Lynnwood Everett has been a popular choice for business travelers and families alike. The hotel offers spacious, comfortable guestrooms that feature an oversized lighted desk and ergonomic chair, 37-inch HD television, in-room coffee station and mini refrigerator. Several rooms offer balconies. Eight of the hotel’s 12 suites feature a wet bar, separate living room, and a sofa sleeper. Four suites also feature a king-size bed and an in-room Jacuzzi spa.

Dining, shopping and recreational opportunities immediately surround the Courtyard by Marriott Seattle North/Lynnwood Everett. Close by are numerous restaurants, the Alderwood Mall and the Seattle Premium Outlets. Recreation includes the Lynnwood Ice Center, the Everett and Edmonds Waterfront, Seahawks Football at Century Link Field and Mariners Baseball at Safeco Field. As well, the Seattle Aquarium, Pike Place Market, and Misquito Fleet Whale Watching Tours are nearby. The hotel is close to Boeing, the Future of Flight and the Boeing Tour at Paine Field.

The Courtyard by Marriott Seattle North/Lynnwood Everett is 30 miles from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). Amtrak at the Edmonds Station is 5.5 miles away and the Everett Greyhound Bus Terminal is 13 miles from the hotel.
