Debut of private home retreat, Villa Ventana at Scottsdale’s Sanctuary Resort

Newly remodeled, Villa Ventana is Camelback Mountain’s crown jewel, offering 270-degree views of surrounding points of interest, including Praying Monk, McDowell Mountain and Four Peaks.

SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. – Summer fun is in full swing at Scottsdale, Arizona’s Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa, and there’s a new way to soak in the sunshine and sweeping desert views. Villa Ventana has joined the fold as Sanctuary’s newest private villa, and now takes top billing as the luxury boutique resort’s highest guest perch, nestled on the North side of Camelback Mountain. Its debut coincides with great summer programs and opportunities at Sanctuary – including a new wine dinner series featuring top winemakers.

Introducing Villa Ventana
Newly remodeled, Villa Ventana is Camelback Mountain’s crown jewel, offering 270-degree views of surrounding points of interest, including Praying Monk, McDowell Mountain and Four Peaks. Its expansive suspended patio is the perfect point to take in a desert sunset, and the private villa comes complete with two master suites, a stunning kitchen, indoor-outdoor living space, private pool, infinity-edge hot tub, plus a separate studio-style guest house. Travelers that book a stay at Villa Ventana by Aug. 5 will save $1,000 per night and receive a $250 resort credit, perfect for enjoying resort amenities like the award-winning Sanctuary Spa, elements restaurant and jade bar.

Breaking Bread – A Summertime Wine Story
An all new wine dinner series in elements restaurant kicks-off July 13. No more than 30 guests will connect with esteemed wine makers during each of the three events, while enjoying specially paired menus by Sanctuary’s Executive Chef Beau MacMillan and other culinary talents from Arizona. Starting at 6 p.m. in the Praying Monk Dining Room, each event is $95 per person plus tax and gratuity, during which diners sit with a local chef and winemaker to learn more about who they are and why they love what they do. The first wine dinner on July 13 features Jorge Monroy of Austin Hope Wines in Paso Robles and Chef James Porter of TERRA farm + manor. On Aug. 10, Greg Brewer and his Brewer Clifton Wines will be in the spotlight, and the Aug. 24 dinner will be led by Sanctuary’s in-house experts, taking a deep-dive into their favorite wines under $50.

Other Summer Draws and Deals
Bar Brawl is back at jade bar every Sunday from July 14 to Aug. 25, pitting the finest bartenders from popular local hotels and bars against one another to battle for the top spot as the Valley’s best barkeep. Music by DJ Hybrid and a selection of food and drink at happy hour prices will be on-hand, and the evening events are free to the public.

Through Sept. 5, several summer offers are available that are ripe with value.
