The hotel posted a profit of 760 million drachmas ($2.5 million) for the six-month period on sales of 3.1 billion drachmas. The company expects to post a profit of two billion drachmas for the full year.
Once listed, the hotel plans to invest in a mid-size conference center to be built on its exclusive property. As well, its Afroditi hotel unit will get renovated as will much of the Nafsika unit. Astir also plans to sell, through a tender, the 145 stremma (145,000 square meters) of property it owns on the island of Mykonos.
