IRVINE, CALIF. – Irvine-based DKN Hotels, one of Southern California’s leading hotel management, development and ownership companies, today announced the acquisition of the Wyndham Garden Pierpont Inn in Ventura, CA. The 77-room property changed ownership for an undisclosed sum from selling company Brighton Management and marks DKN Hotels‘ 12th property in a quickly growing portfolio.
The hotel is located within walking distance of San Buenaventura State Beach and features over 6,000 sq.ft. of flexible meeting and banquet space, making it a popular destination for weddings and other social events. The historic property, nicknamed “The Lovely Lady by the Sea”, was built in 1910 and has seen multiple additions to its initial structure throughout the years. Catering to both leisure and business travelers, the Pierpont Inn offers modern conveniences like complimentary high-speed wireless Internet, ample free parking, and an outdoor heated pool in a timeless setting with breathtaking ocean views. On-site Austen’s restaurant and bar serves exquisite American cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Following the change of ownership, the hotel will continue to be marketed as the Pierpont Inn under the umbrella of the Wyndham Garden flag. The property will undergo significant renovations in the upcoming years that will ensure the hotel’s continued relevance in the Ventura travel market as well as preserving its historic charm and reputation.
