Dream Hotel Group signs Cas en Bas Beach Resort in northern Saint Lucia

New 90-key Cas en Bas Beach Resort by Dream Hotel Group to open in prestigious Cap Estate in 2023.

NEW YORK, NY – Celebrated hotel brand and management company Dream Hotel Group, home to its iconic Dream Hotels, Unscripted Hotels, The Chatwal and new By Dream hotel Group brands, announced plans to bring its distinct brand of luxury lifestyle hospitality to the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia with the opening of Cas en Bas Beach Resort by Dream Hotel Group in 2023.

The latest signing with Edward Wellington, CEO of UK-based resort development company Wellington Estates, marks the group’s first location in Saint Lucia and its second By Dream Hotel Group branded property in the Caribbean, following The Bight by Dream Hotel Group in Turks and Caicos. Previously announced By Dream Hotel Group projects also include Emma & Elissa in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and the company plans to announce future By Dream Hotel Group locations in new and emerging destinations worldwide in the coming months.

“Edward Wellington is the perfect partner to bring our vision of hospitality to life in the beautiful island of Saint Lucia,” said Dream Hotel Group CEO Jay Stein. “It’s an honor to collaborate with likeminded innovators who share our passion for creating new, fresh and authentic hospitality experiences. We look forward to introducing our new By Dream Hotel Group brand of hospitality to guests and locals alike in 2023.”

“We are delighted to enhance this wonderful island’s tourism in partnership Dream Hotel Group,” said Edward Wellington, CEO of the resort development company. “Our objective is to create a truly world-class, professionally managed resort that offers the finest levels of contemporary island living, and Dream Hotel Group shares in that ambition.”

Set to open in 2023, Cas en Bas Beach Resort by Dream Hotel Group comprises two contemporary low-rise buildings and features multiple food and beverage venues, including the impressive Ice Bar and restaurant with large, elevated terrace overlooking the pool, and one of the longest swimming pools in Saint Lucia. The layout of the resort complex has been thoughtfully planned to follow the path of the sun, which passes over the pool through the day, while shielding luxury accommodations from excessive direct sunlight. A mix of sunny and shaded public areas, private terraces and elegant four-poster sunbeds are provided for guests seeking to sunbath or chill, poolside or on the resort’s white sandy Cabana Beach.

Leisure amenities also include a champagne terrace and rooftop bar, signature restaurant, poolside dining, gym, spa treatments, and a beach bar and grill on the spectacular Cas en Bas Beach. The resort also offers a tapas-style wine bar, grab-and-go café, sports bar, business center and guest services lounge, as well as a dedicated wellness center and fitness facility available exclusively for Cas en Bas Beach Resort guests.

Setting a new benchmark for hospitality in the Caribbean, Cas en Bas Beach Resort by Dream Hotel Group promises authentic experiences amidst contemporary amenities and best-in-class service. The boutique condo-resort will feature 90 luxury accommodations, all with spacious, beautifully appointed bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, expansive living areas and kitchens with premium finishes throughout. Each unit benefits from full height sliding doors that maximize the natural light and open onto private balconies for a truly inviting indoor-outdoor tropical retreat. Dedicated concierges will be on hand to assist with guests’ day-to-day requirements before, during and after their stay, including pre-arrival delivery service of essential provisions.

“We are delighted and proud to welcome Dream Hotel Group to Saint Lucia,” added St. Lucia Minister of Tourism Dr. Ernest Hilaire. “The new Cas en Bas Beach Resort, which sits in a prime location in the prestigious Cap Estate between the beach and two golf courses, will further elevate the luxury hospitality offering on the island for international homeowners and visitors alike.”

Once a thriving 1500-acre sugar plantation covering the entire northern tip of Saint Lucia, the prestigious Cap Estate is considered the island’s most desirable and exclusive residential community. Ideally situated between the St. Lucia Golf & Country Club’s championship course, Cabot St. Lucia golf estate and the spectacular beach on Cas en Bas Bay, the area is secluded and exclusive yet less than a 10-minute drive from Rodney Bay, the center of social and cultural life in Saint Lucia, and home to the best nightclubs, galleries, duty-free shops, and entertainment. Cap Estate is also near the world-renowned Pigeon Island National Landmark, where the annual St. Lucia Jazz Festival is held, as well as the Beausejour Cricket Stadium, home of World Cup 2007 matches, and the Rodney Bay Marina, final destination of the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers.

The island of Saint Lucia is long recognized as a top vacation destination in the Caribbean and the world. Spanning 27 miles long and 14 miles wide, Saint Lucia is a sovereign island country in the eastern Caribbean Sea. Part of the Lesser Antilles, it is located northeast of Saint Vincent, northwest of Barbados and south of Martinique. The northern most part of the island – where Cas en Bas Beach Resort is located – is the country’s most popular tourism and entertainment hot spot, with numerous events and attractions to satisfy a wide range of tastes and global interests.

Today’s announcement signals another exciting milestone in the continued growth and evolution of Dream Hotel Group and its portfolio of lifestyle brands. With 15 hotels open today and another 25 locations in various stages of development across the globe, Dream Hotel Group remains one of the fastest growing independent lifestyle hotel companies in the world.
