A wide range of issues including the road tolls, taxi scarcity, hotel parking space, salon cars for airport transport, International Driving Licenses and temporary driving licenses have been discussed between the Dubai tourism authorities and the Road Transport Authority (RTA) in an meeting organized by the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing for the Dubai Hotels and Hotel Apartments Group.



The meeting, held at the DTCM Head Office, was attended by representatives from Dubai hotels, hotel apartments and travel and tourism companies based in Dubai.



The meeting was organized in line with the DTCM’s policy of resolving tourism industry-related issues with the cooperation of other governmental organizations.



The participants discussed several issues including traffic fines, Lost and Found, drivers per car for Car Rental companies, age of car rental drivers, and salon cars for airport transport.



Also discussed was the road toll system to be implemented in Dubai from July this year.
