Dubai’s Burj Al Arab retains position as ‘Best Hotel in the World’

Burj Al Arab, operated by Jumeirah Group, recognised as the ultimate hotel for luxury, according to Daily Telegraph’s Ultratravel readers.

LONDON – Burj Al Arab, the World’s Most Luxurious Hotel, has been voted the Best Hotel in the World and Best Hotel in the Middle East in the Daily Telegraph’s esteemed annual Ultimate Luxury Travel Related Awards (ULTRAs) Reader Survey.

This is the second year Burj Al Arab has been awarded the ‘Best Hotel in the World’ title, a new category added to the Awards in 2013, and the eighth year for the property to win the ‘Best Hotel in the Middle East’.

The announcement was made last night at the ULTRA Award Ceremony held in London.

The ULTRAs Reader Survey provides a unique and trusted source of advice to all travellers worldwide. The awards recognise the best luxury hotels, airlines, cruise companies, spas and destinations globally.

Jumeirah Group’s President and Group CEO, Gerald Lawless said: “Winning this award is a great endorsement of Burj Al Arab’s recognition as the world’s most luxurious hotel. As the operator of this extraordinary property, Jumeirah Group thanks the readers of Ultratravel and our guests for their continuous support.”
